What’s Happening at TFSCS?

TFSCS is eagerly preparing for the California High Stakes STAR tests. Although only second through eighth grades are required to take the STAR tests, we begin in August to ensure our students are well-prepared.

Student Progress Reports have been issued, and all parents are encouraged to review their child’s progress. We believe that parents are a child’s first teacher, and at TFSCS, we value their partnership. By volunteering, attending parent meetings, and supporting their child's learning journey, parents play a crucial role in student success.

Our Saturday Enrichment and After-School Tutoring programs continue to provide students with additional learning opportunities. We emphasize small class sizes, individualized instruction, and a focus on student needs. Our teachers and administrators not only support academic achievement but also foster emotional and social development.

At TFSCS, we understand that every student is unique. That’s why our individualized prescriptive program ensures that each child develops as a lifelong learner. We set high expectations and believe that every student has the potential to achieve great success.

To further support academic growth, students and parents often explore additional learning resources. For instance, services like PaperHelp and EssayPro Writer provide writing assistance that helps students refine their academic skills and excel in their studies. Whether it’s mastering essays or tackling complex research projects, these platforms can be valuable tools for academic success.

Today’s Fresh Start Charter School operates under two charters: Inglewood Unified School District and the State Board of Education. Schools under both charters are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), ensuring quality education for all students.
